I’m Emma. Owner & Photographer of Shirtcliffe Photography, and also a mummy to two little ones.

Having worked on Cruise Ships running my own black and white art studio for several years, I had the opportunity to photograph tens of thousands of couples, families and individuals from many different nationalities from around the world. This gave me the opportunity to see the world and to create beautiful legacy imagery, stories and moments.

I now live near Chorley, Lancashire and although I may not be travelling the world anymore, i’m currently raising my little boy and girl whilst running the studio.

It feels absolutely amazing to have my home studio and to invite families, couples and individuals for a cuppa and a photoshoot.

As I know, sometimes people do get hesitant or nervous, and that’s why a homely studio takes away part of that stress.

It’s all about having fun, feeling relaxed and creating that image that will last a lifetime.
